KPMG International Cloud Architecture (Remote)

Working with Orbus (London, England) and client KPMG (Amsterdam, Netherlands) on enhancing their Cloud Central Modelling using mainly Archimate, but some BPMN and UML notation using iServer 2017. Working remotely and online from Cape Town using our Modelling-as-a-Service model.

Built up an Enterprise Architecture of the Federal Transport Authority (FTA), so that the government of Ethiopia can completely re-introduce a set of new integrated systems: Citizen Drivers License system, Vehicle Registration system, Penalty Management system and Road Traffic Accident monitoring and reporting. Firstly, Architected As-Is primarily the Business Architecture so that together we could better define the To-Be Business and IT Architecture. This took the form of various deliverables. As-Is Architecture, To-Be Architecture and a Terms of Reference for scoping out a programme of work as part of an RFP to be released internationally, to acquire a set of firms who will implement the various solutions.

A short piece of work to Establish a baseline As-Is Enterprise Architecture for the Municipality, so that they firstly meet their Policy Framework requirements from Provincial and National Government to establish and operate an Enterprise Architecture by 2019.

Secondly to assist the CIO/IT Manager in understanding the Business more accurately, to offer a solid baselined Architecture. This then allows for a coherent To-Be well planned set of strategic IT Services to be defined and to publish a Roadmap taking the Municipality forward.
