May 2018 – September 2019: Development of Enterprise Architecture for Digital at Sanlam Group level for the South African-based Businesses. Done in support of translating the Group’s IT strategy as well as requirement to define the Group’s Technology & Business Architecture for Digital; including strategies on Cloud, Integration, Microservices, MESH Architectures, Workforce & Customer Digital Experience, Analytics, Cognitive, Blockchain, IoT, etc.

September 2019 – March 2020: Contract with the Sanlam Personal Finance (SPF) cluster to build out their Target Application Reference Architecture both logically modelling and practically running proofs of concepts. We did PoCs on Microsoft Dynamics365 in the cloud, Salesforce in the cloud, and we used AWS, with Apache Kafka & NiFi to test for Digital User Experiences across Client, Intermediary and Workforce and to prove Event Driven Data in Motion real-time Customer 360 views with MDM all integrating into and out of the Digital Meta-Data Platforms using APIs and other mechanisms.
